LACUNA 
inside a dumpling

‘Lacuna’ – from Latin ‘hole’, ‘gap’, ‘failure’ – is a term used in edition philology to describe a gap in the transmission of a text. It is precisely the gap that the project group fills with stories. Dumplings with various fillings are served on specially made ceramics accompanying a story which creates a starting point for the cross-cultural connection. Food, as we know, is a container of identity and brings about some memories that have a capacity to connect people all around the world. The main challenge of the project is to preserve a storyline that would be culturally interconnective for the visitors, but also consistent and recognisable.
